Piermont Fire Department Parade & Evening Fireworks
FreeThe fire department's July 4th parade steps off at 10 AM from the VFW, and the fireworks go up at 9:30 PM over the Hudson. The pier and the riverfront parks are the natural viewing spots.
Orangetown USA250 Parade & Festival (daytime β no fireworks)

Stony Point Battlefield β Declaration of Independence program (no fireworks)
FreePublic reading of the Declaration and musket firings at the Revolutionary War battlefield. Stony Point's own fireworks come with the 250th Birthday Carnival, July 8β11.
Macy's 4th of July Fireworks (NYC)
Free public viewing, or watch on TVA special dual-river edition for America's 250th β the Hudson River barges mean west-side and New Jersey viewing works this year. Worth the trip if you want the biggest show in the country.
